Oryx's current strategic focus is Morocco — a market with a fixed catalyst and a structural shortage of branded supply that fits the firm's operating model. Strategy expansion is planned with disciplined sequencing into adjacent emerging markets.

We operate each asset to brand standard — including under an international hotel flag where the strategy calls for it — building durable income and a credible operating record before any sale.

Faraz Bajwa
Founder & Managing Partner
Faraz leads Oryx's investment strategy, acquisitions and asset management. He brings over twenty years across real estate, institutional asset management, infrastructure and private equity, paired with an engineering background that underpins a disciplined approach to underwriting and capital allocation. He is the founder of Velox Investments, a private fund spanning real estate, private equity and early-stage ventures, and a partner in Humza Group, a Casablanca-based development firm that gives Oryx development capability on the ground in Morocco. In multifamily, he built and operated a Greater Toronto Area portfolio through a full cycle, and brings hands-on renovation and development experience to every asset.
Mustafa Patel
Co-Founder & Managing Partner
Mustafa leads Oryx's capital formation, investor relations and brand. A seasoned entrepreneur and marketing strategist with over a decade across diverse industries — from technology ventures to growth marketing — he has a consistent record of building brands and delivering measurable results. Based in Morocco for more than three years, and previously in Turkey, he brings on-the-ground market access and genuine cultural fluency, alongside an established investor network that anchors the firm's capital relationships.
